Dr. Vaishnavi J is a Counselling Psychologist and academic researcher specializing in wellbeing of mental health practitioners, student mental health, psychological assessments, and culturally sensitive therapeutic interventions. She holds a PhD and M.Phil. in Psychology and MSc Counselling Psychology from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, and is UGC-NET qualified for Assistant Professorship. Her doctoral research focused on youth mental health, leading to the development and psychometric validation of the Coping Strategies of Young Adults (CSYA) Scale. Dr. Vaishnavi’s scholarly work encompasses peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. Alongside her research, Dr. Vaishnavi has been a practicing counselling psychologist since 2017, offering evidence-informed individual counseling to young adults addressing anxiety, stress, and interpersonal challenges.
