Ananyo Mitra

Assistant Professor of Law

Ananyo is a legal academic, researcher, and storyteller at heart. He holds an LL.M. in Public International Law from Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom and a BBA. LL.B. from KIIT School of Law, India. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Law and Assistant Dean (Research) at Vinayaka Mission’s Law School, Chennai and IFIM School of Law, Bengaluru. In both these law schools he played a pivotal role in strengthening research culture and designing innovative academic initiatives. His research and publications span public international law, environmental law, criminal law and jurisprudence. At his core, Ananyo is an educator who enjoys reimagining the classroom, experimenting with pedagogy, encouraging critical thinking, and nurturing intellectual independence among students.
