Authentication of Degree Certificates
Kindly follow the below steps to find out the validity of the degree certificates:
Step 1: Check for the UIAS code on the SMU degree certificate at the bottom left of the certificate.
Step 2: Open the website www.uias.org in Internet Explorer only.
Step 3: Enter the UIAS code mentioned of certificate (Eg: SMU.GTK.SK.MBADM.11100000016686) which you want to authenticate in the box provided before clicking Authenticate.
Step 4: Click Authenticate, it will be displayed if the degree certificate is genuine.
OR
Recruiters/Education Verification Agencies/Employers can email with supporting documents to educationverification@smudde.edu.in for getting the authenticity of certificates validated from the University. Emails will be replied within 2 working days.
