ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The M.Sc. Yoga Therapy program at MAHE offers an advanced and contemporary approach to Yoga Therapy education, combining classical yogic knowledge with therapeutic application, clinical exposure, and academic research.
Offered under the Division of Yoga, Centre for Integrative Medicine & Research (CIMR), the program is designed within MAHE’s multidisciplinary healthcare environment, providing students with opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and professional development.
The curriculum integrates yoga philosophy, human sciences, therapeutic practices, clinical training, and research, enabling students to develop a deeper understanding of Yoga Therapy in health, wellbeing, and integrative care settings.
With a balanced emphasis on knowledge, practice, and inquiry, the program prepares graduates for evolving opportunities in wellness, academics, research, and integrative healthcare environments in India and abroad.
CURRICULUM STRUCTURE
Semester I
Foundations of Yoga, Human Sciences, and Foundational Yogic Practices
Semester II
Therapeutic Principles, Clinical Exposure, and Intermediate Yogic Practices
Semester III
Evidence-Based Yoga Therapy, Integrative Healthcare, and Advanced Clinical Training
Semester IV
Clinical Integration, Dissertation, and Research
The curriculum is designed to progressively develop theoretical understanding, clinical competence, therapeutic application, and research skills across four semesters.
