The Centre for Microfluidics, Biomarkers, Photoceutics & Sensors (µBioPS) at MAHE, Manipal, hosted the MAHE-IIT Symposium on “Advancements in Microfluidics and Biomarkers in Healthcare” recently at MIT Manipal. The event brought together 150 participants, including students, researchers, and industry professionals, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
Led by a distinguished team of faculty, µBioPS focuses on cutting-edge research in healthcare technologies. The symposium featured esteemed speakers from IITs and industry leaders, discussing breakthroughs in immunotherapy, nanosensor platforms, and biomedical microfluidics.
Dignitaries including Dr. Narayana Sabhahit, Pro Vice Chancellor–Technology and Sciences, MAHE, and Dr. Raviraja N.S., COO, MAHE, highlighted the significance of microfluidics in modern healthcare. The event concluded with remarks from Shri Harinarayan Sharma, CEO, Manipal Foundation, reinforcing MAHE’s commitment to innovation and research. The symposium marked a milestone in advancing healthcare technologies through collaboration between academia and industry.
