Hydraulics and Pneumatics Lab

The Hydraulics and Pneumatics Laboratory is a specialized facility supporting education, training, and research in fluid-power–based automation, equipped with industry-grade pneumatic and hydraulic training kits, modular workstations, and advanced control components. The lab covers Manual, Electro‑Pneumatics, and Closed-Loop Pneumatics, enabling students to work with compressed air generation systems, air preparation units, actuators, and various control valves, while integrating electrical and electronic elements such as sensors, solenoids, relays, and PLCs for industrial automation applications. The Hydraulics section provides hands-on exposure to hydraulic power generation, pumps, cylinders, servo and proportional valves, pressure and flow control mechanisms, and closed-loop motion control, allowing learners to design, analyze, and troubleshoot high‑force, high‑precision systems widely used in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and process industries. Strengthened by industry partnerships with Bosch Rexroth and Festo, the laboratory ensures students gain practical skills aligned with global industrial standards, fostering competency in designing, testing, and optimizing fluid-power systems for modern automation environments.
