Integrated Electronics Lab (Sensorics and PLC)

The Sensorics Laboratory, established in collaboration with Bosch Rexroth, provides BTech students with hands-on exposure to industrial-grade sensors and smart automation technologies used in modern manufacturing and robotics. The lab is equipped with Bosch Rexroth Sensorics Kits, comprising inductive, capacitive, optical, ultrasonic, and magnetic sensors integrated with controllers and engineering software.

Through modular Plug & Produce setups, students learn rapid system configuration, sensor selection, calibration, and signal processing. The lab enables practical understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, including data-driven sensing and digital connectivity.

Students gain experiential learning in:

• Industrial sensor working principles and characteristics

• Sensor integration with controllers and automation platforms

• Data acquisition

• Applications in automation, mechatronics, and intelligent production systems
