Balance Beyond Books – Student Wellness Program 2025:
The MSW (HR) students at the Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal proudly organised the second session of the Student Wellness Program – 2025 on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
With the central theme of "Emotional and Mental Wellness", the session was designed to help students de-stress, reconnect with themselves, and build emotional resilience through interactive and creative activities.
The highlights of the day included:
1. Spin and Grin – A mindful dance activity with eyes closed, letting students sway freely to uplifting music
2. Ha Ha Harmony – A joyful laughter exercise that spreads positivity and warmth
3. Mood Doodles – Students doodled their current moods, later combining them into a collective story that reflected shared emotions
4. Brain-o-Mania – A lively mind-alert game to sharpen focus and spontaneity
5. Aura Resonance – A calming meditation practice to restore balance and inner peace
The session created a safe and vibrant space for students to explore creativity, self-expression, and mindfulness. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the activities and shared positive feedback, affirming the importance of wellness initiatives that go beyond academics to nurture holistic growth.
The Balance Beyond Books program continues to remind us that student life is not only about learning in classrooms, but also about fostering emotional strength, joy, and balance in everyday living.
