MSW Programme, Department of Social and Health Innovation, PSPH organized a guest talk regarding “District Mental Health Programme and Social Work Practice” on Thursday, August 10, 2023 . Dr Manu, Psychiatrist, District Mental Health Programme, Udupi District was the resource person for the event.

Dr Manu gave insight on district mental health programmes, awareness campaigns conducted by the government; various mental health issues, physical health issues faced by the people; people having Alzheimer's, and disabilities; how psychiatrists, psychologists, pharmacologists, physicians, physiotherapists, nutritionists, social workers, public health people along with the family, friends and acquaintances of the people having mental health issues can help them to recover, to lead a healthy, happy, peaceful life.
