Manipal Health Literacy Unit (MHLU), Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal in collaboration with Kasturba Hospital, MAHE, Manipal organised the International Health Literacy Guest Lecture for healthcare providers, researchers, policymakers, industry, academia, and the public on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 (14:30 to 15:30 hours IST) in the Seminar Hall, Third Floor, Shirdi Sai Baba Cancer Block, Kasturba Hospital, MAHE, Manipal.

The Speaker for the Guest Lecture was Prof Dr Maria Cristiane Barbosa Galvão (Professor, Ribeirao Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo [USP], Brazil; Professor, Graduate Program in Information Science, Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil; Visiting Professor, PSPH, MAHE, Manipal).
