Manipal Health Literacy Unit (MHLU), Department of Social and Health Innovation, PSPH, MAHE, Manipal and Asian Health Literacy Association jointly organized the Health Literacy Webinar – 8. The resource persons  for the webinar were Prof Peter Chang (Honorary President, Asian Health Literacy Association; Vice President, International Health Literacy Association; Chang Bing Show Chwan Hospital, Taiwan; Adjunct Professor, Tufts University School of Medicine, USA; Senior Advisor, Pham Ngoc Thach Unicerdity of Medicine, Vietnam); Ms Mandy Mok (CEO, AppliedHE, Singapore; Ambassador, Global Engagement at Hasanuddin University, Indonesia).

Health literacy, how it can help the patients, and their caregivers, how to achieve better healthcare, how health literacy helps in higher education accreditation and rankings etc were discussed.
