Manipal Health Literacy Unit (MHLU), Dpt SHI, PSPH, MAHE and Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA) jointly organized the Health Literacy Webinar – 5 on 'Promoting Smart Lifestyles: Role of Health Literacy'

Dr Arathi Rao, Coordinator, MPH Programme PSPH and Dr Tuyen Van Duong, Assistant Professor, School of Nutrition and Health Sciences, Taipei Medical University were the resource persons.

Maternal health, child health, women’s health, lifestyle, communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, how important it is to manage blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and the healthcare model to amplify healthy lifestyle efforts were discussed.

Prof Dr Peter Chang, Hon President, Asian Health Literacy Association;  was the moderator for the session.
