Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal organised a Guest Lecture on “Promoting Awareness Regarding Traffic Management and Rules and Regulations Among Students” on Saturday, February 01, 2025 (09:30 hours IST) in the Lecture Hall 4A, MMMC, MAHE, Manipal.

Mr Devaraj T V (Police Inspector, Manipal Police Station) was the resource person for this event.

Dr Kumar Sumit (Event Coordinator; Faculty, MPH Programme, Department of Global Public Health Policy and Governance [GPHPG], PSPH, MAHE, Manipal) addressed the audience during the occasion and spoke regarding the importance of promoting road safety awareness programmes.

Dr Arathi Rao (HoD, GPHPG, PSPH, MAHE, Manipal) addressed the audience and spoke regarding road safety measures and objectives of conducting such programmes.

Mr Devaraj T V spoke regarding road accidents, road safety measures, the importance of following traffic rules and regulations, documents required for driving vehicles, importance of wearing helmets and seat belts.

The Guest Lecture was followed by a ‘Role Play by PSPH Students to Promote Awareness Regarding Road Safety’ Near New International Hostel, MAHE, Manipal.
