Dr P Giridhar Kini was appointed as the Registrar of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education

Manipal, 01^st December 2022: Dr. P Giridhar Kini has been appointed as Registrar of MAHE, Manipal. He takes over the charge from Dr. Narayana Sabhahit, elevated as the Pro Vice Chancellor – Technology & Science, MAHE, Manipal.

Dr. Giridhar has served MAHE in various academic & administrative capacities since 1999. He was appointed as the Director of Admissions at MAHE in January 2018. During his tenure, the MAHE Admissions Team ensured a smooth admissions process, even during the pandemic.

Dr. Giridhar completed his B.E. in Electrical & Electronics in 1995 and M. Tech in Engineering Management in 1998, both from MIT, Manipal, Mangalore University, and obtained his Ph.D. from MAHE, Manipal, in 2008.

Dr. Giridhar has to his credit 15+ publications in various National & International journals, the most notable being 3 IEEE publications. He has also guided students toward Ph.D.
