National Sports Day 2025

The Sports Council of MAHE, Manipal, will celebrate National Sports Day from August 29 to 31, 2025. The day is observed in memory of the great hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, who is known as “The Wizard of Hockey.” The celebration will mark his birth anniversary and encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness among the MAHE community.
