Inauguration of Manipal Centre for Biotherapeutics Research (MCBR) Annexe building

Manipal, February 2nd 2022: MAHE Vice Chancellor Lt Gen (Dr.) M D Venkatesh and Pro Vice Chancellor (Health Sciences) Dr Venkatraya M Prabhu inaugurated Manipal Centre for Biotherapeutics Research (MCBR) Annexe building along with Dr Raviraja N S, Coordinator for MCBR. Following the event, the new premises of Suma Genomics Pvt. Ltd was inaugurated on the first floor of MCBR Annexe. Dr Girisha K M, Co-founder of Suma Genomics Prof and HOD of Medical Genetics at KMC Manipal were present. MCBR Annexe houses faculty cabins, researchers’ rooms, and meeting rooms to support the operations of MCBR.
The goal of this centre is to harbour research programs to innovate, develop and translate cutting edge research in biotherapeutics in collaboration with global Biopharma and biotechnology industries.
