Outreach Program on "Health Screening"

The Department of Fundamentals of Nursing organized an outreach program on "Health Screening" for the general public at Mudrady, Karkala Taluk, as part of the 125^th birth anniversary of Dr. TMA Pai on 22.09.2023 9.30 am to 12.30 PM. This health screening included general health assessment (height, weight, and BP measurement) and cardiac risk assessment for the adult population.  Around 40 participants benefitted from the program. The first-semester nursing students and two interns from the clinical service department also contributed to the camp activities. The faculty and students from Edge Hill University, UK, also visited and actively participated in the outreach program activities.
