Report on Activities related to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav towards the celebration and commemoration of 75 years of independence, dept. of Child Health Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE Manipal organized a patriotic drawing and singing competition.

A patriotic drawing competition was organized on November 6, 2021, from 10.30 AM to 11.30 AM for the inmates of CSI Boys Boarding Home, Mission Compound, Udupi. A total of eight children enthusiastically participated in the event. The winners of the best three drawings were awarded. 

A patriotic singing competition was conducted on November 10, 2021, from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM at Government Higher Primary School, Saralabettu, Manipal. A total of 13 students from classes 6 & 7 participated in the event. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the competition. The overall program was coordinated by Dr Sangeetha Priyadarshini and Ms Sheela Shetty, Assistant Professors in the department and was supervised by Dr Baby S Nayak, Professor and Head, dept. of Child Health Nursing, MCON, MAHE, Manipal.
