Alumni engagement Guest Lecture Series - 10/2023

An alumni guest lecture was arranged by the Department of Psychiatric (Mental Health) Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing (MCON), MAHE, Manipal for the UG and PG nursing students on 3^rd July 2023 through online mode. The resource person was Dr Girija Menon, Independent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner working at Community Psychiatric Emergency Centre, Arizona, USA. She is an alumna of MCON, MAHE, Manipal: BSc (N) 1990-1994 batch. Dr Menon deliberated a session on “Perspectives of psychiatric nursing".  She discussed the scope of psychiatric nursing in USA and provided a few glimpses of her professional journey.  A total of 105 participants (students from 3rd year BSc,  and 1st yr MSc Nursing) attended the session.
