BLOOD DONATION DRIVE-2022

As part of the ‘National Voluntary Blood Donation Day’ the Health and Social Welfare Committee of Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal has organized a Blood Donation Drive on 01st October 2022 at Blood Bank, Kasturba Hospital, Manipal between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm.

It was open to all. A total of 72 students, eight faculty from Manipal College of Nursing, and 10 staff from constituent institutions volunteered to donate their blood, and among them after the initial screening, 60 were eligible to donate.

The event was coordinated by the student chairperson of the Health and Social Welfare Committee Ms. Anusha Varughese, 4th year BSc(N), and the Secretary, Health and Social Welfare Committee, Ms.Nivya Binoy from 3rd year BSc(N), MCON under the guidance of Dr.Melita Sheilini, Assistant Professor-Selection Grade, Faculty advisor and Mrs.Savitha Prabhu, Assistant Professor, Faculty Co-advisor, Health and Social Welfare Committee.
