May 21, 2025
On May 21, 2025, the second-year PBBSc. Nursing students of Manipal College of Nursing (MCON) conducted an exceptional Audio-Visual Aids Exhibition on the college premises. Dr. Judith A Noronha, Dean, MCON, inaugurated the event, alongside Dr. Shashidhara Y N, Head, Department of Community Health Nursing, and other faculty members.
A range of non-projected aids, such as puppets, cartoons, diagrams, brochures, handouts, flipcharts, charts, maps, graphs, models, and flannel boards, formed the central theme of the display. Additionally, various projected aids, including overhead projectors, slide projectors, PowerPoints, and LCD projectors, were showcased, emphasising their crucial role in enhancing the teaching and learning process.
Following a thorough evaluation, the audio-visual aids were presented to the faculty and students of Manipal College of Nursing. All attendees recognised the program’s importance in enhancing the educational process and expressed their gratitude for it. The initiative was aligned with SDGs 3 and 4. The successful execution of the overall programme was attributed to the insightful guidance provided by Dr. Vinish V, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing (CHN), MCON, MAHE.
