Report on “Orphanage home visit”

The Health and Social Welfare Committee of the Student Nurses' Association, 2024-2025, Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, organized an orphanage visit to Krishnanugraha, Mamatheya Thotillu, Santhekatte, Udupi, on February 8, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. A team of 13 students and three faculty members participated in the visit, engaging with the children through various interactive activities. The students entertained the children with songs and dance performances. The children were also encouraged to participate in dance activities. As a token of care and support, grocery items were donated to the orphanage, and the children were given snacks and fruits at the end of the visit. The visit concluded with heartfelt gratitude to the caretakers for their dedication and administrators for allowing us to spend meaningful time with the children. The session contributes to SDG 3- Good health and well-being.
