Report on Global Handwashing Day - 2024

As part of Global Handwashing Day 2024, the faculty of the Department of Community Health Nursing and students of the 2nd year PBBSc Nursing, MCON, MAHE, Manipal conducted an awareness program on the theme "Why are clean hands still important?" at St. Mary's High School, Shirva, on 15th October 2024 between 2.30 and 4.00 pm. The programme contributed to SDG 3: Good health and Well-Being; SDG 4: Quality Education; and SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.
The program was started with an invocation, which was led by Ms. Chaithra and the group, followed by a welcome speech by Ms. Flosita, II PBBSc Nursing. The Chief guests of the program were Ms. Joylin & Ms. Nisha, Community Health Officers, CHC, Shirva.
