Effective Alumni Engagement Guest Lecture Series

As part of the Effective Alumni Engagement Guest Lecture Series, a session on “Good Study Habits and Reverence” was organized by the Department of Fundamentals of Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE Manipal on 5th August 2022 at 2 pm through the MS teams online platform.   

The resource person was Dr. Vishnu Renjith, Lecturer and Program Director at the School of Nursing & Midwifery, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He addressed the students on different aspects of learning, viz: taking and reviewing notes, eliminating lifestyle distractions, establishing a study routine, group study, exercises to release stress, and not being afraid anytime to accept help. He emphasized the POMODORO technique to manage the study time effectively.   A total of 113 first-semester BSc nursing students attended and benefitted from this guest lecture.
