Student Collaboration series on Care through the Lifespan: autistic child/adult
August 27, 2024
On the 26th August, 2024, a student collaboration series 13 was conducted by Dr. Toni Bewley, Adjunct Faculty from Edgehill University, UK, on the topic Care through the Lifespan: autistic child/adult.
The collaborative series focused more on the life experiences of the caretakers of autistic children. Four members of the group were caring for autistic children. Dr Toni beautifully moderated, including her experiences from identifying the signs and symptoms, to the challenges each person faces in caring for an autistic child. This helped the students compare the book picture to their experiences and enriched their knowledge. The session attributed to Sustainable Development Goal 4, Quality Education.
