Alumni Engagement Guest Lecture Series – 04/2024

A guest lecture on “How to be a Nurse and not Nurse only” was organised by the Department of Child Health Nursing, MCON Manipal, on July 3, 2024, at 2.45 pm through Microsoft Teams.

Mr. Govind Soni, Database Manager (NMO & CMS) at Oxford Hospitals, NHS Hospital Trust, Oxford, and Alumnus of MCON Manipal (BSc Nursing 2014–2018 batch), spoke on the different job opportunities in nursing as well as preparedness for a future career. He also narrated how to change the patients’ lives. He encouraged the students to network with various departments and take full advantage of the resources MAHE offers. A total of 92 students and six faculty members attended the session. Participants clarified their doubts regarding higher education opportunities in data science.
