Twenty one contingents from various Institutions participated in the parade. Best three contingents were awarded. The contingent of Manipal College of Nursing Manipal was awarded the 3rd best contingent and Manipal School of Nursing awarded the 2nd Best contingent. The awards were given by Dr. H.S Ballal, Pro Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal.
