Dr. Elisa Ladd, Adjunct Faculty, MGH Institute of Health Professions, Boston and her two students of Paediatric Nurse Practitioner course at MGH Institute of Health Professions, Boston, USA, Ms. Valerie Kiers and Ms. Caitlyn Shea gave a brief orientation on the roles and responsibilities of Paediatric Nurse Practitioner in USA. They also threw a light on the curriculum and evaluation process of the course.

Dr Elissa Ladd presented the scope of practice of pediatric nurse practitioners which included primary care setting, pediatric hospitals and physicians clinic. Dr Anice George, Dean, MCON Manipal, Dr Mamatha S Pai, HOD, faculty members of the department, research scholars and MSc Nursing Paediatric specialty students from Sikkim University attended the session. The session was interactive and informative.
