Alumni engagement guest lecture series – 10/2020 report

Department of Community Health Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing Manipal, has organized alumni guest lecture on the topic ‘Community Health Officers in Health and wellness center’ on 16/10/2020 between 11 am -12 pm by Mr Preetham Nayak, Community Health Officer, Kolar District (alumnus of MCON PBBSc N – 2017-19 batch). He highlighted on the morbidity and wellness services available in the health and wellness centers and explained regarding e- Sanjeevi app, the new update on tele-consultation. The roles and responsibilities of community officer, career options as community Health officers were clearly explained. The session was deliberated using Microsoft teams platform. Total 62 participants including faculty members and students from 4^th year BSc(N) practical batch III  and  II year PBBSc (N) attended the session. The program was coordinated by Mrs Reshma R Kotian, Lecturer, Manipal College of Nursing Manipal, MAHE, Manipal.
