Slum Visit Report

The Health and Social Welfare and Health Education Committee of the Student Nurses Association (SNA) 2025–26, Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), organized a “Slum Visit” at Indrali Slum, Udupi, on 17th November 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During the visit, students provided health education on Malaria, Dengue, and Rabies, conducted various games, and distributed prizes to the winners. Children from the slum were encouraged to showcase their talents. A total of 80 inhabitants actively participated in the program. At the end of the event, gifts and clothes were distributed to the residents.
The program involved 18 students and three faculty members. This activity contributes to the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

· Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
· Goal 4: Quality Education
