REPORT OF ALUMNI GUEST LECTURE

We hosted an alumni guest lecture on "Gastroenterology Case Discussion” on 7th November between 6:00 pm & 7:30 pm. The target audience were students of nurse practitioner in critical care postgraduate residency programme and MSc nursing students. Dr. Simi Jesto Joseph, PhD, DNP, RN, APRN, ANP-C, NEA-BC, FNAP System Senior Director of Nursing Innovation & Research Center at Cook County Health/Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner highlighted various disorders like gastrointestinal bleed, diverticulitis, abdominal pain, pancreatitis, and abnormal liver function tests. A total of 25 participants (six males and 19 females) attended the session. The session was coordinated by Dr. Jyothi Chakrabarty Professor & HoD, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing.
