Dr. Antony Sylvan D’ Souza, Associate Dean, KMC, Manipal, was the Chief Guest for the Inaugural function. Dr. Anice George, Dean, introduced the Chief Guest and delivered the welcome address. The Chief Guest, in his address, congratulated the students for their performance in March past and appreciated the college for systematically organizing the annual sports day. The Inaugural function ended after the vote of thanks by the sports advisor, Mrs. Malathi G Nayak.

Thereafter, events of the day started and all the students and staff actively participated in various events with full sportsman spirit.
 

The valedictory function was held at 3.00pm. Dr. Raveendranath Nayak, Director, School of Management was the Chief Guest. Dr. Judith A Noronha, Associate Dean, introduced the Chief Guest and delivered the welcome address. The Chief Guest in his address emphasized about the importance of students active participation in sports and athletics which pay rich dividends in terms of fitness, well-being, and happiness. Thereafter, the prizes were distributed. The individual championship for men was bagged by Mr. Gautham Kumar, 2nd year BSc Nursing student and best outgoing sports man was bagged by Mr. Tenzin Donga, 4thyr BSc Nursing. Ms. Josvita, Ist year MSc Nursing bagged the individual championship for women and the best outgoing sports woman was Ms. Chippy Sunny from 4th year BSc Nursing. The overall championship was bagged by the group Bass Jacker and the runner up was bagged by group Diplo. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Shalini Nayak, Sports Co advisor.
