Mrs. Saroja Jaykumar, Chief Nursing Officer, Manipal Hospital, Bangalore who is an alumnus of MCON Manipal was the chief guest for the meet. In her inaugural address, she shared her experience as a student and faculty of MCON Manipal. She also emphasized the importance of critical thinking in patient care, which in turn helps to reduce the gap between theory and practice.  

The guest of honour was Dr. K Ramnarayan, Vice-President, Faculty development and Alumni relations. He explained the significance of alumni reunion for the growth of the institution and the individuals. 

Total 65 alumni members attended the meet. In response, few of the alumni shared their experience as well as interesting moments of campus life to the audience.  

As a part of entertainment program, funny games were organised for the audience and prizes were distributed.  

The fifth and sixth batch graduates of B.Sc (N), M.Sc (N), PBB.Sc (N), and M.Phil. (N) were felicitated on this occasion. A delicious lunch was served for all the alumni members at the end of alumni reunion.
