Effective Alumni Engagement Guest Lecture Series – 12/2023

The Department of Fundamentals of Nursing organized a guest lecture on “Public Speaking” on 21st August 2023, between 4.00-5.00 pm for the 3rd Semester BSc Nursing students at Manipal College of Nursing as part of Effective Alumni Guest Lecture Series -12/2023. The speaker for the session was Ms. Jezel Neha Lewis, an alumnus of the BSc Nursing 2013-2017 batch. This session aimed to create awareness and sensitize the students to engage with an audience through skillful communication.  

She concluded the session by advising the students to Organize speeches, which systematically improves the clarity of thought and increases the likelihood that the address will be effective.
