REPORT ON ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT GUEST LECTURE SERIES - 15/2023

Manipal School of Nursing, MCON, MAHE, Manipal had organized a guest lecture on the topic “FIELD NURSING IN MILITARY” by Mr Subhash Avil Dsouza, Staff Nurse, Military Medical Centre, Abu Dhabi, UAE on 5th October 2023 at 3.00 pm for 3rd year DNM students. Mr. Subhash discussed about the working environment and cases encountered in the military field. He also stressed on process of handling emergency cases. He enlightened the participants by giving instances of his clinical experience. A total of 60 participants attended the session. It was a useful and interactive session where participants could acquire knowledge about military nursing. The session contributed to Sustainable Development Goal 4- ‘Quality Education’.
