The programme was conducted at Academy School, Manipal by 3rd year BSc nursing students. Topics covered were malaria, dengue, anaemia, worm infestation, measles and rubella. Emphasis was given to causes, modes of transmission, manifestations of the disease, prevention and management was highlighted using interactive teaching methods.

The programme was attended by 80 students from 2nd to 7th standard and also the headmistress and teachers. Programme was well appreciated by teachers and students. Mrs Sangeetha Priyadarshini, Assistant Professor, department of child health nursing, Manipal College of Nursing Manipal coordinated the programme.
