Report of the session on “Stress Management”

A session on “Stress Management” was organized by the Health and Social Welfare Committee of the Student Nurses Association, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal, on March 1, 2024, between 04.00 pm and 05.00 pm for the fifth semester BSc Nursing students. Dr. Savitha Prabhu, Assistant Professor-Senior Scale, Department of Psychiatric (Mental Health) Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, was the resource person. The session aimed to equip the students with effective stress management tools for creating a healthier academic environment. The students were made to practice relaxation techniques to reinforce the knowledge gained. The awareness session left a lasting impact on the students, empowering them with valuable skills to navigate and mitigate stress in their academic and personal lives. Around 97 students attended the session. The session contributes to SDG 3: good health and well-being.
