Report on the Guest lecture "Commercialization & Product Development aspects of IPR"

The Innovations, IPR & Consultancy Vertical of Pillar II: Exemplary Research & Innovation, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal, organized the guest lecture on “Commercialization & Product Development aspects of IPR” on 07 June 2025 for the faculty & research scholars of MCON. The resource person Dr S Varadharajan, Deputy Director, Intellectual Property Rights & Technology transfer office (IPTTO), Directorate of Research, MAHE, Manipal, deliberated the session and highlighted the various aspects of Intellectual property rights including patents, copyrights, process of application, ethical issues, & its benefits. The session also highlighted the importance of publication & commercialization of patented products and explained the MAHE policy on patent commercialization for the faculty & students of MAHE. There were total of 32 participants attended the guest lecture. This program has its contribution towards achieving SDG -4 Quality education. The overall programme was convened by Dr. Jeyalakshmi K, Chairperson, & Mrs Pavithra Nayak, Member, Innovation, IPR & Consultancy vertical, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal.
