Danish Students Observership Programme at Manipal College of Nursing

Eleven students, accompanied by Professors Tanja Chræmmer and Rikke Brændgaard Sørensen from the University College of Northern Denmark, visited the Manipal College of Nursing (MCON) for an International Observership program from February 17 to 28, 2025.
During their stay, they interacted with Dr. Anup Naha, Director of the Office of International Affairs, Dr. Judith A. Noronha, Dean, and the Heads of various departments at MCON. They explored the facilities at Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Kasturba Hospital, visiting medical-surgical wards and the ICU. The Head of the Emergency Medicine Department provided an overview of the department's key activities, functions, and patient care protocols. The delegates also visited other departments, gaining insights into the hospital's infrastructure, medical services, and operational procedures.
