Guest Lecture on “Love and gratitude”
Department of Fundamentals of Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal organized a Guest Lecture on “Love and Gratitude" on 7th October, 2021 between 9:30 am & 10:30 am as part of Deeksharambh, Student Induction Program for the academic year 2021-22 through Microsoft Teams Platform. Dr Anice George, Professor, Department of Child Health Nursing, MCON, MAHE, Manipal addressed the students on the topic. She spoke on the importance of gratitude in shaping ones’ personality, benefits of gratitude on emotional, social and psychological wellbeing. She further said, gratitude is an expression of unconditional love, which improves our health, increases our self-esteem and also enhances positive emotions. Dr Anice George stressed on the importance of expression of gratitude in our daily life. A total of 99 first-year BSc Nursing students attended the program.
