Dr Keith Brennan, Vice Dean Internationalization, and Ms Lorena Fernandez Sanchez Faculty Admissions Manager, the University of Manchester visited Manipal College of Nursing on 15th May 2023 to explore the opportunities for establishing collaborations with Manipal College of Nursing (MCON). Dr Judith A Noronha, Dean MCON highlighted the details of the courses offered, faculty details, funding, and collaborations established with other international partners. Dr Keith also shared the programmes offered and the research interests of Manchester University. There were important discussions held on opportunities for collaboration on international students’ clinical placement, Cotutored PhD programmes, and co-supervision for the PhD programme. The dean also informed about an opportunity for an international faculty to visit MCON for three months which will be supported by MAHE. This international delegation was supported by the office of International Affairs, MAHE and coordinated at MCON by Dr Shashidhara YN, Professor and Head, Dept of Community Health Nursing, International Students Coordinator.
