Report on Diwali Celebration

The Diwali celebration of 2024, organised by the Student Nurses Association (SNA) on 26th November 2024, was a vibrant and well-coordinated event. The program was conducted on the first floor of TMA Pai Hall from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, following the GB meeting held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The event began with a warm introduction by the MCs, Hanna Mariya and Cerena, from III semester BSc Nursing, followed by a soulful prayer song by Sreelakshmi and team from the V semester BSc Nursing. Mr. Farhan, SNA President, delivered the welcome speech, setting a positive tone for the series of cultural performances that followed.

The performances included a group dance by Aleena and team from the I semester BSc Nursing, and a group song by Ms. Alina Susan and team. An energetic fusion dance by Ms. Mariet and team from the I semester BSc Nursing, followed by a beautiful duet song by Ms. Angel Joy and Ms. Simmy from the V semester BSc Nursing. The final performance of the event was a group dance by Ms. Rugma and her team from the III semester BSc Nursing.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Angel Mariya Jossie, Cultural Committee Chairperson, followed by the distribution of refreshments for everyone. The Diwali celebration wrapped up successfully at 5:15 PM.
