The purpose was to sensitize students about the need of preventing diseases and promotion of health. Mrs. Nalinakshi, Head Mistress of the school welcomed the gathering. The school health education program highlighted the importance of practicing personal hygienic measures and eating balanced diet in day today life. Various activities like role play, informative talks, demonstration, group songs and games were organized in local language to instill awareness on prevention of diseases and promotion of health. 

Total of 19 students and two teachers participated in the event. The programme was conducted as part of the curriculum, under the mentorship of faculty of Child Health Nursing, Mrs Binu Margaret. All the sessions were invigorating and interactive. The participants clarified their doubts and shared their experiences. The children enjoyed the program and have actively participated in program. Students thanked the Head Mistress of the school and the faculty for their support throughout the programme. The program was well appreciated by the school authority.
