The programme was organized at academy school, Manipal. Topics presented were – health management, dengue, waterborne disease, worm infestation, iron deficiency anaemia, immunization and kwashiorkor. The causes, mode of transmission, manifestations of the disease, prevention and management was highlighted using interactive teaching methods and role play, by thirty-three 3rd year BSc nursing students, in each batch.

The programme was attended by 60 students from 2nd to 6th standard and also the headmistress and teachers. Programme was well appreciated by teachers and students. Mrs Sangeetha Priyadarshini, Assistant professor, Department of Child Health Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing Manipal Coordinated the programme.
