Sahaja Yoga Meditation Sessions
March 11, 2026
At Manipal College of Nursing, meditation sessions were conducted for students and faculty on 5th and 7th March 2026 by the Sahaja Yoga team. The sessions began with an introduction to the evolution and philosophy of Sahaja Yoga, highlighting the concept of Kundalini energy and its awakening through meditation to achieve inner balance, mental clarity, and self-awareness. The team explained the key prerequisites for meditation—including sincere intent, a calm environment, and the essential process of Self-Realisation — before engaging in deeper practice, which helped participants mentally and spiritually prepare for the techniques taught. During the sessions, core Sahaja Yoga meditation steps were demonstrated, including recognising subtle vibrations, balancing energy centres, and entering a state of thoughtless awareness, to promote mental clarity, emotional resilience, and overall well-being. These outcomes directly contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
