Stride with Pride: Our Student Shines at Canara Freedom Run 2025"

The 4th edition of the Canara Freedom Run was held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Canara Bank Manipal Circle Office, serving as a grand prelude to Independence Day celebrations. The event, organized by the Canara Bank Officers’ Association (CBOA) under the theme “Stride with Pride for Our Armed Forces,” witnessed the participation of over 5000 runners across multiple categories.

We are proud to share that our student, Mr. Sonam Gurmey, showcased outstanding performance and secured 2nd place in the 10 km category (Male, up to 30 years) with a timing of 0:42:14. His achievement stands as a testament to his dedication, endurance, and sporting spirit.

The marathon brought together dignitaries, leaders, and the community to honor the Indian Armed Forces while promoting fitness and unity. The event was a memorable blend of health, patriotism, and celebration.
