The speakers for the seminar were Dr. Vasudev Rao, District Surveillance officer, Non Communicable Disease Cell, Udupi district and Dr. Krishna Sharan, Associate Professor & In charge Head of Radiation and Oncology, KMC, Manipal. 

Dr. Vasudev Rao explained in detail on general information on Cancer, epidemiological aspects, prevention of cancer and National Cancer control programme in Karnataka. It was an interactive session with clarifying doubts of the participants. 

Dr. Krishna Sharan, elaborated on history of Cancer, types, evaluation of Cancer treatment, and types of cancer treatment available. He also highlighted the treatment is patient and disease specific. The session closed with various discussion on cases and its solution.
