Guest Lecture on “Attitude of gratitude and love in nursing practice"

Department of Fundamentals of Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal organized a Guest Lecture on “Attitude of gratitude and love in nursing practice" on 14th September 2020 between 2:00 & 3:00 pm as part of Student Induction Program for students admitted to the various courses offered by the college for the academic year 2020-21 through Microsoft Teams Platform. Dr P Suba Sooria, Chief of Nursing Services, Kasturba Hospital, Manipal spoke on the topic. She spoke on the importance of gratitude in shaping ones’ personality and benefits of gratitude. She further said, gratitude improves health, strengthens the immune system, brings us closer to God and increases the ability to cope with everyday stress. Dr Suba Sooria stressed on the importance of the special words, ‘thank you’ and ‘please’ in our daily life.
