REPORT OF GUEST LECTURE

We hosted a guest lecture on “Lymphedema Management” on September 27th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The target audience included students from the Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care Postgraduate Residency Programme and MSc Nursing students. Mrs. Alice Stella Virginia, RNRM, BCCPN, NFPN, ELNEC Master Facilitator, and Retired Army Nursing Officer, highlighted the definition, assessment, exercises for lymphedema, and lymphedema dressing, emphasizing its significance in palliative care and home care. A total of 39 participants attended the session (6 boys and 33 girls). The session was coordinated by Dr. Jyothi Chakrabarty, Professor & HoD, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing.
