Report on Naturopathy Health Camp

The National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune, in association with SDM Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital Sowkhyavana, Pareeka, and Manipal School of Nursing, MCON, MAHE, Manipal, organized a Naturopathy Health Camp for General Nursing and Midwifery students in the Basic Health Science building on October 19, 2023, at 11.00 am.

The camp started by lighting a lamp and prayer song by Ms.Vaishnavi, 3rd-year GNM student, followed by a welcome address by Mrs. Saraswathi Hebbar, Lecturer, Manipal School of Nursing, MCON, MAHE, Manipal. The sessions were taken by Dr. Anita U, Mr. Ajith and Dr.Pooja, Medical officers, SDM Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital Sowkhyavana, Pareeka. Ms. Anita U discussed AYUSH, a balanced diet, Yoga and its benefits. Mr. Ajith and Ms. Pooja demonstrated Praanayaama and Yogaasana, and students were able to repeat them.

A total of 175 participants benefitted from the camp. The program contributed to Sustainable Development Goal 3: “Good Health and Well-Being.".
